Members of the Denton County Democratic Party formed the Environment and Energy Committee to do the following:
1. Provide information, prompt action, and allow a forum for discussion about environmental issues that are important to Denton County residents and the North Texas area.
2. Coordinate local efforts already underway.
3. Organize events and endorse local events on environmental issues.
4. Create a platform.
5. Clarify Democratic candidates’ and office holders’ positions on environmental issues.
